Most of the advice from Internet marketers is to learn the tricks of the trade and then move on to a less competitive niche. Most people hearing that automatically assume that the people telling them to move on only want to keep the money-making niche to themselves!   In fact, the marketers are probably right. Once you've mastered the art of Internet marketing, staying in the over-crowded Internet marketing arena is a hard way to try to make money. There are many well established big names you'll be competing against! What you should really do is research a lucrative niche not being well served and set up shop. Once you've got the Internet marketing background behind you, you'll dominate a niche where people don't know the Internet marketing basics.
